MOKENA, IL — State Representative Tim Ozinga has been selected to the House Republican Organization's executive board for the 2022 campaign cycle, according to a release from Ozinga's staff. Ozinga will serve as treasurer for the board.

The executive board also includes: House Republican Leader Jim Durkin, State Representative Ryan Spain, State Representative Dan Caulkins, State Representative Avery Bourne, State Representative Tim Butler, and State Representative Charlie Meier.

"I am eager to get to work as a new board member for HRO; our state is not where it needs to be. Our team has ambitious goals and initiatives to communicate with the voters in this state," Ozinga said in a release. "Our legislators continue to put a heavy burden on Illinois taxpayers, growing families, and retirees alike. I am confident we will effectively communicate our message to Illinois residents; they will know we deserve a chance to enact real change in this state. There is no question in my mind that we will work harder than our competitors when the bell rings."

Ozinga is the state representative for the 37th District which includes part of Frankfort, Frankfort Square, Homer Glen, Joliet, Lockport, Mokena, New Lenox, Orland Park, and Tinley Park.
